Privacy Policy

Summary

PocketCharter does not contain advertising, third-party analytics, or tracking. Your chart projects are stored on your device and, when iCloud is available and enabled for your Apple account, in your private iCloud storage.

Information PocketCharter Stores

PocketCharter stores the projects you create, including chart notes, tempo data, song metadata, imported audio references, exported chart information, and album artwork you choose to add. This information is used only to provide the app's editing and export features.

iCloud Sync

If iCloud is available, PocketCharter may save project files to your iCloud container so your work can be backed up and available across your Apple devices. This data is associated with your Apple ID and is handled by Apple's iCloud services.

Photo Library Access

PocketCharter may request access to your photo library so you can choose album artwork for your charts. The app only uses images you select for this purpose.

Song Identification and Search

PocketCharter includes optional song information tools. If you use song identification, the app uses Apple's ShazamKit service to match audio. If you search for song metadata or artwork, the app may send your search query to Apple's iTunes Search service and download artwork from Apple's artwork URLs.

AI BPM Detection

PocketCharter's BPM and tempo detection runs on-device using the app's bundled model. The app does not upload your chart project to a PocketCharter server for BPM detection.

Support Contact

If you contact PocketCharter support, any information you send is used to reply to your request, investigate bugs, and improve the app.

Children's Privacy

PocketCharter is not directed at children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This policy may be updated when PocketCharter changes. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect the latest version.
